Hi! Let me tell you my story…
I was born in Franklin and have lived in Johnson County my entire life. I founded Benjamin’s Coffeehouse in downtown Franklin in 1995 and owned it for over 11 years. It is there that I learned the secret to success: offer excellent customer service to everyone and do business with integrity and people will continue to come back! Fast forward to 2014, the rising of the ever popular HGTV channel! I was hooked & Modern Realty Group was born! I chose to start my own Real Estate Company for one reason…CONTROL (not the bad kind!). I wanted to control the type of service I could offer my clients. I wanted to control my success or failure. I wanted to control how many active clients was optimal for my business plan and lastly, I wanted to control who was affiliated with my company name. I’m not about the number of agents or clients I have, nor about the number of transactions. For me, it’s about the satisfaction of my clients and hearing those words at the closing table – “you were awesome to work with. Thank you so much”!
I have been married to Wade Christian for 25 amazing years and have been blessed with our precious dog, Nikita, for 12 of those years. In our spare time we enjoy golf, pickle ball and most of all, travel.

Nancy Wright-Broker

I have a passion for real estate which I feel is apparent through my commitment to my clients, excellent communication skills, and conscientious determination to serve the needs of both Buyers and Sellers. My intimate knowledge of the area, as well as my years of experience of having lived and worked here, give me a distinct advantage when helping my clients find the home that is perfect for them. As a real estate agent, it is my goal in every transaction to provide excellent service to my clients in order to earn their trust, referrals, and repeat business.
I have enjoyed living and working in Franklin for most of my life and am proud to have graduated from Franklin Community High School. I am proud of my past and present involvement in the community as both a business owner and a volunteer in various organizations. In 1999 I graduated from Leadership Johnson County Class. From 1999-2007, I owned and managed American Trophy in Franklin, as well as supervised the organization and operation of Caring for Kids for 9 years, served as a former Chamber of Commerce Board Member, and was a charter member of the Mayor’s Assistant Organization. I have also enjoyed serving as a former member of a Thursday Night Ladies Bowling League, and a past member/officer of the Women’s Bowling Association. And in 2000, I was honored to be named Citizen of the Year by the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.
I am blessed to have been married to my husband, Bob, for 47 years, have two beautiful daughters, Jill Ross and Kiley Leugers, and four grandchildren: Jared, Caleb, Alex and Aubrey.
When not working, I attend and am involved in Gracepoint Church, and enjoy bowling, crafting, reading, traveling and spending time with my family

Thresa Smith(Terri)- Broker

As a native of Central Indiana and a seasoned real estate professional, I recognize and value the trust my clients place in me and strive every day to exceed their expectations. My years of experience as a licensed Realtor have helped me to develop a professional and personable working style that make my clients feel at ease and confident in my abilities to represent their best interests. I bring a strong work ethic, high morals, and integrity to each transaction, and genuinely enjoy helping clients achieve their real estate goals. I am passionate about meeting the needs and goals of my clients and specialize in bringing peace of mind to home buyers and sellers who have previously struggled with selling on their own or with other agents. As a Realtor I am grateful for and attribute my success to loyal clientele, personal referrals and repeat business which forms the foundation of my real estate career.
Personally, I am blessed with a wonderful husband, nine children, (currently) 8 grandchildren, and a strong devotion to God. Outside of real estate, I take pride in giving back to the community and serve as a mentor for high-risk disadvantaged youth. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids, hosting large family gatherings, and reading.

Hilary Nowling- Broker

Representing current and future homeowners in Central Indiana, I am committed to ensuring a successful transaction and positive experience for my clients. Before entering real estate, I attended IUPUI earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Purdue. I am married to an incredible husband who has served in the Indiana Army National Guard for over 20 years, and a homeschooling mom of two wonderful boys. Since 2013, I have also been active in teaching and serving on the leadership committee of our homeschool co-op, and am currently the director of the group. When not serving clients, my family and I enjoy spending time volunteering in the community and with our church.
